The inclusion of the new pedestrian walkway has contributed to the definition of a connecting axis, within the urban core, of considerable importance for the relational life of the town. The set of functional, environmental and economic constraints placed around the intervention were decisive for the development of the project idea. The deck, paved with wooden slats and supported by a single-span steel structure, ends on both sides with a connecting area from which the paths connecting to the existing road network branch off.
